A 2023 Record Store Day release, New Heart Design is a collaboration between Baltimore's Turnstile and Toronto's jazz outfit badbadnotgood. This mini album is a re-work of three tracks (Mystery, Underwater Boi and Alien Love Call) found from Turnstile's breakthrough post punk LP Glow On.
Anchoring the three tracks are the drum and bass work from bbng's Alex Sowinski and Chester Hansen, Turnstile's Brendan Yates vocals and bbng's Leland Whitty saxophone and guitar turn these three songs into jazz funk that you want to dance to.
