Sapana is a never-published recording by the late Indian-British jazz guitarist Amancio D'Silva. This 1983 recording features his longtime collaborators Clem Alford on sitar and Lyn Dobson on saxophone and flute. Staying true to his practised Hindustani throughout these four tracks, D'Silva invited his comrades to express the raga using their own instruments. All these are fused so seamlessly that the listeners can feel the respect and generosity in this posthumous album he made.
