Prolific Turkish drummer Berke Can Özcan (ex-Konstruct, ex-123, ex-Big Beat Big Time) has his footprints in different genre, rock, ambient and most famously as a member of the Turkish free jazz outfit Konstruct. The last album Mountains Are Mountains saw him picking up whatever he came upon and turned that into soundscape filled with emotional texture.

This album sees him responding to nature by collaborating with two most atmospheric saxophone voices in today's jazz scene, Norwegian Arve Henriksen who is known for his minimalistic ECM work and Brooklyn-based Jonah Parzen-Johnson who has been experimenting with new processed sounds via his baritone saxophone and synthesizer.

Twin Rocks takes the listener on a trip of meditation and inevitability through the coastal Lycian hiking trail . The organic saxophone lines cry melodrama while the ambient soundscape attempts to intoxicate. Berke Can Özcan invites the two saxophonists to interpret the wonder of nature, at times philosophically reflective while occasionally demanding fears and surrenders. Twin Rocks should be on any solo hiker's playlist.
